Match Your Mama

This subtle tropical print french terry fabric arrived a few days before we left for Maui, and I threw these matching outfits together last minute to add to our suitcase. Like, literally last minute. Unfinished hemlines and uneven shorts and all. Whoops. (The unfinished hem I'm keeping, the uneven pant legs I'll fix). But it was worth it. Because isn't wearing matching themed outfits the whole point of taking your kids on vacation with you? :)

my outfit: modified Megan Nielsen Briar top + some random old elastic waist shorts pattern

P's bonnet: also handmade, free pattern here

teething necklace: Mama & Little

both our sandals: Old Navy

Mom Day Off

I got a 'Mama Day off' this past weekend, when Zach was on baby all day and I was free to do whatever I wanted. It was my first full day to myself since Penny was born. So what did I do? I headed into Harvard Square to try on all the clothes at Anthropologie, of course. Including this jumpsuit. And man, this jumpsuit kind of reminded me of toddler clothing (lol), but I was also obsessed with it and never wanted to take it off. So it came home with me. And I immediately put it back on for the rest of the day. Best purchase in forever.

jumpsuit: Anthropologie

cardigan: ugh I don't know. Ive had it forever

necklace: Mama & Little (use code HOLLY for 15% off)

booties: DSW

That Dress

You guys, there are no words that actually do this dress justice. I literally let out a little squeal when  I slipped it on. It's an ALLTHEHEARTEYES dress.

Now if only I had a bunch of fancy parties to wear it to :/
