Shop & Blog Update

Happy Monday, everyone! How was your Easter weekend?

Lets start this week off with an Etsy shop update! I’ve added a few new items to shopHollyDolly over the weekend. I have a couple of detachable collars restocked, including a new black and white mini dot one. Also, check out my newest item - leather bow hair clips. I have 4 sets in stock right now, but I’m kind of obsessed with these little guys, so expect more soon.

I also have a lithe update for this here blog as well. I finally got a custom domain! You can now find me at:

hollykeenan.tumblr.com will still get you here, so no worries. But for those of you who would like to update your blogroll, etc. - do it now!

Hope you all have a fantastic day :)

What I Wore: Boston Blogger Meet-Up

IMG_4733

Wednesday night, I attended my first Boston Bloggers meet and greet, organized by the lovely Katy and Alison, at Lansdowne Pub in Boston. At first I was nervous, like I always am - going into a large group of people I barely know. But my nerves quickly went away, as everyone was so nice and inviting. I got to spend a lot of time chatting with my friend Amy, I finally got to meet the wonderful Annie, and I was introduced to a whole bunch of new bloggers that I can’t wait to follow along with. One new friend included Michael of Gingham and Leather. It was so refreshing to meet a fabulous male style blogger. You should definitely check out his blog - it’s awesome!

And, of course, I didn’t take any photos. Typical. Next time, I swear.

Wedding Wednesday: Burlap

IMG_4524

See this big bolt of burlap? Obviously I have a lot of wedding DIY projects in mind using this particular material. So I thought I would share some of the things I’ve been working on! These aren’t even all of my burlap projects. But I haven’t quite started all of them yet. But we’ll start with these for now :)

1. Burlap and bakers twine wrapped mason jars. Going to be used as vases, favors, and other random decor.

2. Table numbers - I’m really loving the way these turned out.

2. Bunting banners. I know you can’t see it all, but this particular one is for the candy station. I also plan on making ones for the photo booth, head table, and pre-ceremony drinks table.

That’s it so far. It’s a lot of work, but I’m having fun crafting!

Love Hate

I’m not usually a dresses over jeans type of girl. But it was way too cold to wear this breezy, swingy dress alone. And I’m refusing to wear any more tights this season. So jeans it was. And you know what, I don’t hate it.

How do you feel about dresses over pants?

The weekend is almost here agaaaaain! Our big plan this weekend? Finally seeing The Hunger Games! I know I’m like a week late on this, but I actually just read the book last week as the movie was coming out. I was late to the game, but I’m totally on the bandwagon now. *Sigh*, let the obsession begin.

P.S - I’m wearing my blue and yellow today in honor of my Sabres :) They’ve been doing awesome making a huge playoff push recently, and they are making me very happy! Lets Go BUF-A-LO!
