These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things...

There are a few things I just can’t get enough of this summer:

» Pineapples. Also documented here and here.

» Hair wraps/ scarves/ whatever you want to call them. This seriously has become my signature style. Almost every day, fo realz. Documented here, here, here, and here ( to name a few).

And all in one outfit? Love love love. Do you have any style obsessions this summer?

A Weekend In Vermont

stowe1

Boo and I had a belated anniversary celebration this past weekend. We drove up to Stowe, Vermont for a quick adventure filled couple of days. I was on a mission for this trip - mission waterfalls. And we saw two! I was even brave enough to wade into the swimming hole at the bottom of one (it was so freakin cold, it actually took my breath away).

Other highlights from the trip - we went kayaking and hiking, saw Stowe from high up above, tried out an alpine slide, had the most delicious maple creme brûlée, and finished off the night with a fun game of mini golf. It was a super great weekend! Even with all the bug bites, muddy legs, and sore muscles that came along with it :).

In My Life

insta137

» As I mentioned at the beginning of the week, Boo and I spent a looooot of last weekend in the car between Boston, Buffalo, and Cleveland. There was a bridal shower, a bachelorette party, fireworks, catching up with friends, rain, sunshine, delicious pancakes, a one year anniversary, baby Liam cuddles, fishing, bonfires, s’mores, family time, and way too many photos of the sky from the car. Phew, that was one jam-packed weekend.

» Speaking of our belated anniversary, we’re taking a short trip up to Vermont this weekend, and I am so excited! Three years we have lived in MA, and we have yet to travel to other parts of New England.

» How cute is this overalls dress?! This purse, too.

» You may have noticed that I haven’t had any Design Diary posts to share with you. If you follow Megan, you’ve probably seen that she has decided to take a step back from the shop right now. Which also means that she will be slowing down with the blog too (read Megan’s post here), and therefore I won’t be working on any more projects. Boooooo :(. But I still am sewing a lot, and hopefully I’ll start sharing those projects more here on HollyDolly!

One Year

Holly+Zach_cer-115

One year ago yesterday, Boo and I got married. Yesterday, we reached our one year anniversary while in Cleveland celebrating another friend’s upcoming nuptials. It was a great weekend, but we’ll have to have a proper celebration here soon. I mean, we made it a year! That’s a big deal! Not that there was ever a doubt that we would ;).

But really - I can’t believe how fast that year went.  Fo real! It seems like it was just last month that I was knee deep in all of that crazy planning, and then walking down that aisle, tripping over my own dress. I wouldn’t change a thing, especially that guy that was standing at the end of the aisle waiting for me :).

Happy anniversary, BooBoo!!!

An American Girl

july4th1

Happy Fourth of July, my American friends! Today, I give you my obligatory red, white and blue outfit. Oh, who am I kidding - I love it. I had a few color themed outfits picked out, and this one won. But I’ll probably still share the others at a later date.

I hope all of you have a super fun and safe day/weekend! I am off visiting family for part of today, before heading to a friends bridal weekend. This time last year, I was prepping last minute details for our wedding, and now I get to help one of my BFFs do the same. It’s going to be a really busy and travel filled next few days, but it would’t be July 4th weekend without it!

Mint, and Sparkles, and Horses, Oh My!

Pictured: these super cute, gold glitter loafers from LeBunny Bleu. Super comfy and just enough sparkle to add to an outfit! Since I’ve received them, they’ve been my go-to, slip on shoes for quick errands and whatnot. LeBunny Bleu makes some reeeeeally cute shoes. So check them out, if you haven’t already!

Not pictured: The sweat that was dripping down my neck and chest when these photos were taken. Gross? yes. TMI? probably.
