Favorites This Week

I’ve been trying to keep up with all my favorite bloggers, and check out as many new friends as i can from Kendi’s remix list. Heres a few of my favorite outfits that I saw this week:

   

The Daybook, day 7

-Sydney is adorable. Her posts always make me laugh. And I want this vest in the worst way.

Closet Confection, day 12

-Kendra, a fellow Tumblr-er, always pops up in my dashboard and I love to see her outfits. She always looks so put together and polished. Love the grey and gold together here!

      

Jen Loves Kev, day 7

-Jen talked about this outfit mismatching. I LOVE it. I wouldn’t have even thought about it mismatching at all! I guess I just like mismatched things. I would wear it in a heartbeat. Such fun, bright colors, and some polka dots to top it all off!

What Would a Nerd Wear, day 11

-I have a thing for color. And by looking at this post, It looks like this week its purple. Or at least purple tights. Tania from What Would a Nerd Wear pulls it off so well. I love how the scarf completely transforms the outfit, and it is like having a whole new dress. 

    

Simply Sunstar, day 7

-I discovered Heather over at Simply Sunstar through Kendi’s remix list (I’m trying to check out as many as I can!). This.is.adorable. That hat? Adorable. Those tights? adorable. Everything together? Adorable. This is definitely something I would wear. 

Kendi Everyday, day 7

-And lastly we have Kendi. We all know Kendi. We all know how cute she is, I don’t have to tell you. She actually was not happy with this post. She didn’t like her hair, she thought her shirt was sloppy, etc. But I absolutely love it. All I see is one of the cutest outfits ever. Easy and simple, yet so chic at the same time. And the color of those tights? To die for. 

Day 12 - I Solemnly Swear That I Am Up To No Good

30 for 30 remix: day 12 - Sooooo, yesterday I felt like poo and stayed in my pajamas all day. But thats ok, because next week there is a day where I have 2 outfits in one day to make up for it. 

Today we went to see Harry Potter again. Yes, again. And I’m planning on going again monday. I just can’t help it- I become obsessive when it comes to these movies. So this is my movie, pizza, and a hockey game outfit. Ta daaaaaaaa.

30 for 30 remix - day 11: It is November 18th, November 18th. I have been waiting for this day for a long while now, and I’m sure a bunch of you have too. Tonight, I am going to the midnight premier of Deathly Hallows Pt 1. YAAAAY! I have been going crazy all day. It is like I’m on a sugar high. Nothing can ruin today. 

So something fun for an exciting day. Bright colors, polka dots and bows!

      

      

      

Day 10 - Oh Look, Another Sabres Outfit

30 for 30 remix - day 10: It was incredibly windy today, which did not make pictures easy. And I have this hilarious picture of a man walking by and me realizing he was there just as the photo snapped. It’s pretty funny, maybe I’ll post it later. 

Yellow, blue, yellow, blue - It’s in my blood. I love my Sabres, and its also fantastic that their colors are so awesome. It makes incorporating fan apparel into everyday outfits very easy. But really, the star of this outfit is my one accessory. It’s a little embarrassing, but you guys, I have a confession (see last photo)…..

Day 9 - I like Comfy Clothes

30 for 30 remix -day 9: I just wore this sweatshirt 2 days ago, but it is soooo comfy and I would wear it with anything. i had an appointment to wait for with the gas company and some work to do at home. So obviously I went for loose and comfortable again today.

I included 2 dressy dresses in my 30 items, but I wish I only included 1. I don’t have that many special occasions to wear that many dressy things in 30 days, and I don’t know if I’ll even get around to wearing both. One would’ve been enough. I wish I had another sweatshirt or tee shirt. I wish I  wish I wish.

      

      

      

Day 8 - Primary

30 for 30 remix - day 8: I waited too long to take my pictures today. boo. Not only that, but I waited until after dinner to take them… big mistake. I had my dinner all over me. Luckily, you can’t see it in the pictures. 

Sooooo it’s pretty colorful, to say the least. When I put on the red with the yellow, I figured I would see how many different colored items I could actually get in one outfit without looking too crazy. So, I added the blue. I even have some orange in there (under the red, not visible). The other day I went with mixing prints, today I went with mixing colors. 

I don’t know, even with all the color, I still feel like something is missing or off. Or maybe it is just the pictures I don’t like. What do you think?

      

Day 6- And the Challenge Begins

30 for 30 remix - day 6: It was suuuuch a nice day out today. We went for a walk, took some pictures in the park, and grabbed some lunch. Easy peasy. 

Up until today, I had no problem picking out outfits for the challenge. But today was the first day I ran into some trouble. I had a couple of other outfits picked out, but I suddenly realized there were other upcoming occasions that I those outfits would work better for. I think I really need to sit down and make a chart, or a list, or something. Some kind of planning. But - I did not know what to wear today. I finally settled on this, obviously.  It is actually not one of the original combinations I had in mind, but I am very happy with it. Thats the point of this challenge, I suppose. But from now on- planning….
