Day 8 - Everybody, Everywear: Blazer

30 for 30- day 8: Its another Everybody, Everywear day! I have a few different blazers, but seeing as I didn’t have much to do today other than work at home and run to the post office, I chose this one. It is actually knit and feels like I’m wearing a sweatshirt. It is so comfortable! Not much going on today, just working and getting ready for Orlando.

Day 7- Awkward OR Awesome?

30 for 30 remix, day 7: So, Sydney does awkward and awesome thursdays. But today I’m doing awkward OR awesome? day. Because thats thats what I asked myself when I looked at my outfit in the mirror today. I layered the sweater and skirt over my chartreuse dress until all you could see over it was the big ruffles at the neck. Big ruffle-y chartreuse yellow shoulders. I eventually went with awesome. But you can be the judge. 

I actually didn’t have anywhere important to wear this outfit today. After my comfortable, yet kind of blah, outfit yesterday, I really wanted to get all dressed up today. But I didn’t have anywhere to go. Did that stop me? of course not. So yes, I did wear this to run my errands today. I felt fancy. This skirt was another one of my super amazing employee sample sale purchases when I was DVF. I adore it. 

P.S - I can’t get enough of Glee’s Thriller/Heads Will Roll mash-up. Such a good episode.

Day 6 - Rainbow Explosion

30 for 30 remix, day 6: This was a pretty weekend-y outfit. Just eh. So I thought I would spice it up the photos with the backdrop. After some laundry and cleaning, Boo and I went on a little adventure to this ally that I remember walking by. Its all graffiti-ed up and it has rainbow stained glass above it. Super colorful and really cool. I just hope theres no gang related graffiti in this. That would be weird. And not cool. 

I’m not into football. I actually don’t get it at all (hockey I get, football… not so much). So no super bowl for me. My sunday night is going to involve sewing, maybe some sketching, a yummy dinner, and then the new Glee episode! 

Day 5 - Happy Happy Weekend

30 for 30 remix- day 5: Not much to say today- just having a relaxing saturday. So I’m going to get back to sitting on the couch with my bag of chips and a movie. Hope everyone is having a happy weekend!!

Day 4 - Date Night

30 for 30 remix-day 4: Yaaaaaay I’m outside. Thank god - I really hate taking indoor pictures. The lighting is terrible. Not that this is the absolute best either. I got all the way to the park only to see that none of the paths were cleared. Except for one. But that one was both a sheet of ice and really shadow-y. But I walked all the way there and, gosh darn-it, I was going to take the photos there. 

I’ve also played around with the look of the photos today too. Something a tad different than as of late. I can’t help it - photoshop is too much fun. I love playing around with all the different effects. 

So tonight is Friday night date night. Wohoo! So thats what I’m all dressed up for. I don’t usually wear this dress as is because it is suuuuper short. I usually wear a skirt over or under it. But hey, I thought I’d give it a go. At least I’m wearing tights, so my bum would’nt be completely exposed. 

I hope. 

Day 3 - Dots + Stripes and Black + White

30 for 30 remix, day 3: I really miss taking pretty outdoor shots. The snow and rain have stopped, but it is still too icy for me to walk very far with my tripod. Ice + me = not a very good combination. I’m clumsy enough as it is. 

I was originally going to go all black and white with this outfit. But I figured it wouldn’t be very me without some color. So I’m glad I did it. I’ve also been crazy for polka dots lately. I’ve been eyeing a certain polka dot skirt (for after the  30 for 30, of course), and on my last trip to the fabric store I purchased 2 different polka dot fabrics. I seriously can’t get enough of it right now. And yes, I am wearing the same socks as yesterday. I mean, they were over tights both days, so its not that gross….  right?

Day 2 - Surprise!

30 for 30 remix, day 2: Oh, snow. You really need to stop now. I think we have plenty of you. We are kinda running out of places to put you. BUT, at least Boo had a snow day today - so I had a photographer. Yaaaay. 

SO….. guess what?! We just found out that in two weeks we will be going to Orlando for a week! Yes, in the middle of the winter I will be heading to Florida. Fortunately, a good number of my items can eaaaasily work for warmer weather (thank you, me, for picking shorts as part of a winter remix). The only switch-er-roo I’m making is in the shoes. I’m going to forget the oxfords:

So yeah, this remix just became a wee bit harder. But hey, challenge accepted. A little weather change can’t scare me! Harry Potter World, here I come…..

Day 1- Shorts and Snow Storms

The snow is coming down pretty good right now, and its a bit much for this little girl and her tripod. So indoor pictures it is. Hopefully I can get out to get some good winter wonderland photos sometime this week. 

But anyway… here we go! The challenge begins. I’m actually pretty excited for this 30 for 30. I think I’m kicking it off pretty well. What do you think? I went for it pretty good on the first day with a little plaid, floral, and leopard mixing. And shorts on the first day of the big snow storm? Eh, why not :)
