Four Eyes

worn on July 19th, 2011

Two months after trying out my Warby Parker  trial pack, I finally got around to ordering my new real glasses! I’m pretty much in love with them, even if my stepdad said that all I need now are some windshield wipers. Psh, I look gooooooood.

Beach Babies

worn on July 16th, 2011

Boo and I spent a couple of hours at the beach again this past saturday. And then we  went for Harry Potter 7.2 round two. This time in Imax 3D. And it was just as fantastic as the first time.

p.s- don’t you just love that oh so fashionable band-aid I’m sporting? Thats the result of my fall the night before.

My Orange Pants

worn on July 15th, 2011

I’ve been so excited to wear these pants since my mom bought them for me while we were home last (thanks mommy!!). So I thought that they would be the perfect thing to wear out to dinner for date night on friday. But they are long and require 4 inch heels. And lately heels have not been my friend. Yep- I bit the dust. Hard. I scraped up and bruised my knee pretty good. But don’t worry…. the pants are ok.

P.S-I'm a Nerd

worn on July 14th, 2011

I know that most of you have wondered, at one point in time, how in heavens name does a style blogger wear a graphic tee with a giant photo of a certain red headed wizard? Well its a good thing you have me around.

As you may have guessed, I wore this last night to the Harry Potter double feature/ midnight premiere. Well kind of what I wore. I may or may not be one of those people who show up at the theater in a Hogwarts robe and a wand.

p.s - I accidently left my ISO turned way up on my camera again. That sucks.

p.p.s - If were to ever get a tattoo, I’m 98.9% sure that it would be this symbol.

Beach Go-ers

worn on July 9th, 2011

Living near the city, we often forget just how close we are to the ocean. I can’t believe we’ve lived here this long now, and this was our first time going to the beach. This definitely needs to change. I told Boo that every nice weekend we have, I want to spend exploring some of the beaches and coastline around us.  How could we not want to spend lazy saturdays and sundays just lounging in the sun in the warm sand?

haha, self-portrait.

EBEW: Yellow

worn on July 8th, 2011

Its that time again - time for another Everybody, Everywear! This time around we are all wearing yellow. I love yellow, and I definitely had plenty to choose from in my closet. But my new warm weather staple seems to be a button up top tied over an easy throw on dress. So I obviously gravitated towards this yellow gingham for this outfit.

That Dress I Made That One Time

worn on July 4th, 2011

Ok, so I wasn’t originally going to show you guys my engagement photo outfits until I could show you the actual photos. But seeing as it will be weeks until then, and that I’m just a teensy bit impatient, I figured I could show you one of the two outfits.

This one is actually the dress that I made, and gave you a sneak peek of a couple of weeks ago. I LOVE the way it came out - the fit ended up being perfect. Plus, not only was it exactly what I wanted for the photos, but I also managed to get in a little blue and red(ok - red/orangeish) for the fourth.

Bonus - Kathryn of Kitsune-kun made this dress too! go see her version here.

Can you tell I desperately needed to get my bangs cut by this point? Don’t worry (because I know you were), I got it done the next day.

After a yummy breakfast at our local Earls, Boo and I hung out with our brothers and my oldest friend- we met on our very first day of kindergarden! So, we did some swimming, ate some delicious food, reminisced, then headed down to the Sardinia Carnival. Games, taffy, and fireworks were the perfect ending to the night.
