Finally! I’ve gotten around to adding the first batch of these to the shop. They are super addicting to make, and I already have a bunch more ready to be photographed. So stay tuned!
Graffiti Alley
worn on September 16th, 2011
Friday was date night! So we headed towards Central Square for dinner and long discussions about fantasy hockey. Of course, you can’t go to central square without stopping in graffiti alley for photos.
So.Many.Colors.
So many, in fact, that I was worried that I would either clash or blend right in. Other than the blue being right at skirt level, I think it ended up being ok.

Honesty
worn on September 13th, 2011
I should be honest, I had absolutely no where to go wearing this outfit. I actually never even left the house that day. But I had the urge to put on something pretty and take pictures of myself. Just a big kid playing dress-up.
And now you know.

Newburyport
worn on September 10th, 2011
On saturday of Boo’s birthday weekend, we drove out to the adorable town of Newboryport. Many people had suggested going there, and I’m glad we did. We walked around the whole town, had the most delicious pizza, and walked in and checked out every little shop we went by. Yes, it was Boo’s birthday. But I may have gotten a few presents. Typical.
After a while, we headed over to the boardwalk on the waterfront and ate our newly purchases fudge. Just sitting by the water, watching all the boats, might be one of my favorite things to do!

We didn’t stop there! Theeeeeen, we headed over to Plum Island for a little beach time. It was a little too chilly for sunbathing and swimming (although there were many brave souls who were doing so). But we did have a little picnic, took goofy pictures, and even took a little nap.
And finally, the birthday boy and his cupcakes!
EBEW: Colored Pants
worn on September 8th, 2011
I really love colored pants. In fact, I’m surprised I only own 3 pairs. I’ve done yellow, red, and orange. I would really like some bright blue ones. Or maybe green. Or purple? Or maybe I should just get one in every color.
p.s - I won this Loominosity bracelet from Ashley over at I Believe in Unicorns and I’m absolutely smitten with it! I’ve been dreaming up different outfits I can pair it with. They have some amazing bracelets in their shop. You should check them out!
p.p.s - when I went looking for the post for the yellow link above, I was reminded of how I used to go more in depth with my photo editing. I used to have a lot of fun with Photoshop actions, giving my photos different effects. All I really do now is adjust the brightness, contrast, etc. I’m thinking about going back to the more edited way, but I’m having a hard time deciding. If I do it, I want to commit to it. I don’t want to keep going back and forth. What do you think? Which do you like better?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOO!!!
Worn on September 9th, 2011
Today is Boo’s birthday!! And I wore this out on friday.
theres a connection, I swear.
Boo told me that all he wanted for his birthday was a really nice, expensive, steak dinner. So thats what he got. I made reservations at Mooo, and we headed into Boston for the evening on friday. Mooo was gorgeous, and incredibly delicious. Oooooooh, so delicious.
We continued his birthday weekend fun with a trip to Newburyport and the beach on saturday. But more on that wednesday. Today, when he gets home from work, he will have cupcakes and his choice for dinner waiting for him.
Happy Birthday Boo!

Seasons Change
worn on September 7th, 2011
Its been raining kitties and puppies lately (thats my version of cats and dogs). But I still had to go out on wednesday for another interview, turning in applications, and picking up groceries. Originally I had planned to wear the dress alone, but the rain has caused it to be quite chilly. So I reluctantly threw the sweater on over the dress. I know everyone is looking forward to fall, but I don’t want summer to be over!
p.s - I did a little tweaking to the look of the blog. Does everything look alright?

Shop Update

Just a few new additions to the shop this week. I’m still making more everyday, so keep a look out. And the chain friendship bracelets I was talking about will also be added soon!
p.s - does that floral ruffle look familiar? Its leftover fabric from my swap diy skirt!
Catching Whales
worn on Septemeber 3rd, 2011
I only managed to take one set of outfit photos this weekend. We were so busy and having too much fun to think about it. So this is all I documented. We spent the day walking around boston and on the boat for a whale watch, hence the comfortable TOMS.
I loved the way Ramsey wore her hair in this post. So I took one of my bows that I usually make into a necklace, and instead stuck a hair clip on the back. And voila!
