Did you guys know that you’ve always been able to shop my closet? Well, you can. I used to use Ebay, but recently switched over to Smashion. I only have a few items in there right now, but I plan on adding a bit more once I get back from NYC. Take a look here.
That 70's Girl
worn on October 11th, 2011
Isn’t my headband fantastic? I know I just wore it in fridays post too, but I love it that much. When I first won it, I originally considered saving it and actually wearing it on my wedding day. But I think I’m going to go with something more colorful. No matter! Now I can wear this pretty thing allll the time :)

Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble
worn on October 9th, 2011
This weekend, Boo and I headed up to Salem for some haunted happenings. There were witch hats everywhere, yummy roasted cashews, and scary haunted houses (I spook easily). And, of course, the history! The witch trials really fascinate me. So my favorite parts of the trip were really the cemetery, the memorials, and the gorgeous buildings. I loved this area!
After Salem, we made our annual trip to the corn maze. Our favorite fall tradition! It happened to jump back up into the mid 80’s this past weekend, so we sweated our butts off under the hot sun while we got lost in the maze. But it was worth it! And so was the apple cider and donuts we treated ourselves to afterwards :)

Chop It Off
worn on October 5th, 2011
Another DIY project! I’ve had this dress for a while, and wore it a lot during last fall’s 30 for 30. But I made a big boo-boo and got a major rip in the bottom portion of it. Its been sitting in my sewing room forever because I couldn’t bare to throw it out. I don’t know why it took so long, but it suddenly dawned on me. Duh! It would make a pretty cute top. Chop, chop, chop.

EBEW: DIY
worn on October 8th, 2011
So many possibilities came to mind when I saw that this months EBEW was DIY. I could’ve easily gone to any of the older projects I’ve done in the past, but I decided to take the opportunity to make something new. Specifically, finally perfect to ruffle blouse I’ve been working on. Granted, its still not exactly where I want it to be, it still needs a few pattern tweaks. But I still think its a step better than the first polka dot one I made ( see here).
Bonus - the shorts are also a DIY from over the summer. And the bracelet is handmade - come see some of them in my shop!

Merging Style Blogger and Hockey Fan
worn on October 3rd, 2011
For those of you that have been around here for a while, you are probably aware of a slight obsession I have. If you are new to this little blog, well, be prepared. I happen to be a huuuuuge Buffalo Sabres fan (and hockey fan in general), and I often find myself letting this obsession show through my outfits. While it is hockey season, don’t be surprised to see a lot of my outfits showing my blue and gold pride!
Well, the new hockey season officially started yesterday, and the Sabres first game is today (in Europe!) - so obviously I couldn’t help myself. Today, you can find me with my butt parked in front of the tv, cheering on my babies and watching my fantasy teams closely. And envying my sister who traveled to Germany to see our team play.
Oh yeah, LETS GO BUF-A-LO!

Weekend Wear: At The Fair
worn on October 1st, 2011
Eeeeee! Fair time! Back home, our local county fair is in August, so I am used to it being a summertime thing. But I actually loved it this time of year! The pumpkins, corn on the cob, and warm cider. Mmmmmmm, so good.
I begged Boo to take me, but it was looking like rain all weekend. We took the risk and went anyway, and I’m so happy we got to go!

p.s - that darn ISO. I don’t know why I always forget to check it. Sorry for the graininess.
