Team Coco

Let me tell you about my morning routine…..

» I wake up, and cuddle with Henry for a bit.

» I get up and make some breakfast and/or coffee.

» I take said breakfast, and go and get all comfy on the couch. Blanket, more Henry cuddles, the works.

» I turn on the previous night’s episode of Conan.

» I eat, check emails, and schedule the days blog and social media posts while laughing at Conan in the background.

And then my day goes on - bla bla bla. But I always start my day with a little Coco. I remember staying up late at night in High School to watch him on Late Night. That’s when I made my first Conan tee, which I eventually grew out of. So Boo helped me make this gem of a shirt a few years ago. I’m still wearing it, and I’m still watching him, religiously, today. Love, love, love me some Coco. True story.

In My Life

Sorry I ended up being MIA this week. I have a good excuse, I swear. And that excuse is the little face you see up there in all those photos. I took a mini trip out to Kansas City for a few days to see my sister and my little man, Liam.

The last time I saw him, he was only a few days old. Now, he holds my hand (kind of), is a big fan of his own feet (and his thumb), and can sit through an entire dinner out without crying (too much). Oh, and he still reeeeeally loves his puppy sister’s kisses. I know, the cuteness is a bit overwhelming.

Red, Blue, and Gingham

I’m a little behind on posts - I actually wore this last week on Memorial Day. And obviously, I couldn’t stay away from a patriotic themed outfit. A little star spangled, red, white, and blue.

Anywho, the weekend was a drab and dreary one. So, come Monday, Boo and I just wanted to get outside for a bit. So we spent a relaxing afternoon walking through Minuteman park. It turned out to be a gorgeous day, and perfect conditions for photos. I had such a hard time narrowing them down!

Tuesday

Happy tuesday, friends! I’m still shaking off the effects of a long weekend, so I’m going to keep this short and sweet, yet again, while I try to get into the groove of the week.

See you back here tomorrow!

» It was Cascade week on Design Diary! I’ve done tutorials, and shared a full outfit. Head on over to see it all, and I’ll share some photos here on Monday.

» I’m starting to realize what having a kitten means - my arms and legs are starting to look like his personal scratching post. Oh, baby Henry.

» Boo and I have a new favorite go-to weekend activity : kayaking and canoeing on the Charles. We’ve headed a few times towards the outskirts of the city, where it’s quieter. But next time we want to try it right from Boston. I’m sure the city views will be amazing!

» A few more items to add to my summer wishlist : this top, this dress, and these sneakers (yep, I said sneakers. How unlike me. But they are polka dot, so I guess that makes sense).
