Yesterday was mint, today is lilac. And it has me feeling pretty spring-y.
Speaking of Lilac, writing the word just now made me remember how much I think it would make a cute little girls name. Lavender and Violet, too. And also maybe Plum. I guess I have a thing for purple.

1. Why don’t I wear these jeans more?! I’m definitely a skinny jeans girl, but these wide legs are so fun to wear. Note to self: wear wide legs more often.
2. I’ve been sick for the last 6 days or so, and was still not feeling so hot when these pictures were taken. But I’d been cooped up inside only thinking about how horrible I felt, and needed some fresh air. So I’m surprised how alive and human I actually look in the photos. Believe me, I did not feel that way.
3. I’m so over winter for many, many reasons. But mainly because I’m running out of winter blog-worthy outfits. Its gonna start to become a repeat offender post every day if spring doesn’t hurry up.
4. I really need a hair cut. It’s getting so long again.

I’ve been a big fan of red buffalo check this winter. I began the season with absolutely no pieces in my wardrobe with that print…. and now I have 4. Go big or go home, ya know.
Of course, red buffalo check always reminds me of a lumberjack. Especially when paired with denim. But I love that! I threw on a fun necklace and leopard cardigan to give it a little bit more feminine vibe. Ladylike lumberjack. Or crazy hipster lumberjack. It could go either way.
p.s - sometimes your pant leg of your jeans is completely twisted and no one notices it until your browsing through the pictures later on. It happens.
