Confession: while I'm all about the fall activities, changing leaves, pumpkin flavors, and the return of booties... I HATE fall dressing. Hate it. I'm so not with all of you and your "fall is my absolute favorite season.

No.

I don't like chunky layers and I don't like chunky outerwear. I'm much more comfortable in the spring and summer, and I feel much better about my outfits in those months, too.

But you know the kind of fall days I do like? Those in between days. You know the ones I'm talking about - days when you can wear sweaters with shorts, or big scarfs with tee shirts. Those days I can get on board with.

Back in July, Boo and I had some portraits taken for our two year anniversary. I was anticipating the perfect blue sky, sunny summer day. But instead it rained and was windy and foggy. I was more than a little disappointed. At first. But it cleared up just in time, and turned out to be absolutely perfect. Needless to say, I am IN LOVE with them. Because Dawn is amazing. She did our one year photos, too, remember?

Boo and I spent a few days this past weekend up in Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, ME. We hiked, did some night kayaking in bioluminescent water, and even got a night of camping in! We actually picked the perfect weekend for it. Perfectly clear sky for star gazing, and a fall chill in the air at night (but not too cold).
